Engineers Day Celebration

Engineers' Day is celebrated in India on September 15 in honour of this true essence of engineering and the birth anniversary of India's pioneer engineer-administrator Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. He was the Diwan of Mysore, as well as a great scholar and statesman. A highly disciplined engineer, he was known for his sincerity, time management, hard work, and devotion. He was a civil engineer and his work involved everything from building roadways, to dams and anti-flood systems. He never stopped learning and was sent to different countries across the globe where he studied various engineering practices. He was also awarded the Bharat Ratna for his special skills. On 15th sept 2022 Department of Civil Engineering has celebrated Engineers Day with various events. Hon Principal Prof. Y.R.Gurav was the Chief guest for the Function. He enlighted students with his valuable thoughts. The function was conducted under the guidance of Head of the Department Mr. A.B.Warke. This Event is celebrated under Civil Engineering Students Association
